Kreww privacy notice

Who we are. Kreww operates the Kreww marketplace in the United Arab Emirates. This notice explains how we handle personal data under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021).

Workers. We collect your name, mobile number, Emirates ID, passport, work permit, a selfie and face template, trade test results, HSE results, location when you clock in and out, attendance, ratings and payout account. We use this to verify you, offer you jobs, record your hours and pay you. Businesses see your name, trade, Kreww ID, rating and attendance, not your documents.

Businesses. We collect company and contact details, trade licence, VAT details, work orders, invoices and payments to provide the service, invoice and meet anti-money-laundering obligations.

Where data is stored. In the UAE (AWS Middle East, UAE region). Face matching, OCR, messaging (WhatsApp, SMS) and payment providers process data for us under contract.

How long. Attendance, pay and audit records are kept for 5 years after your last activity. Face templates are deleted within 30 days of closing your account.

Your rights. You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to processing, by messaging Kreww on WhatsApp or emailing privacy@kreww.co. Some records must be kept by law.
